I am very happy to recommend First Heritage Restoration, they did my roof about a year ago with a ridge vent. I enjoyed working  with Neil, he was very helpful, above my expectations and was a “hands on” supervisor. It so happened that I was having insulation put in the attic at about the same time and since the ridge was open to install the ridge vent Neil noticed that two rooms had no insulation at all and not enough in the rest. This was after the insulators left and I paid them. So I called them back and with Neil’s help the insulation was done properly. I really appreciated his help. We have had some high winds and stormy weather since with no problems at all. It was a great job.

I found First Heritage Restoration through ABC Roofing Supply. Also checked with Phoenix Better Business Bureau and Registrar of Contractors with no claims filed. Neil, with his professionalism, honesty and references was hard to beat.

All work, plus more, was completed within the three day time frame that was promised, even with a severe rain storm hitting the first night. I was quite nervous about leaking but had been reassured by Neil that day the roof would be well protected and not to be concerned about leaking. He even called the next morning to check on things, actually I think he was checking on me to encourage me and not to worry.

I was not able to meet Ron and his crew, but what a professional job they did and no mess was left behind. It's a warm welcome to have work done on my home by people who are considerate and concerned. The whole process took approximately 10 days from start to finish...

I recently had a very exciting experience, about two weeks ago I met a person by the name of Neil Drum who happened to be in the roofing business. At the time Neil and his crew were in the process of replacing my neighbor's roof. I began to chat with Neil, asking him questions about my roof; how much it would cost and how long it would take. I was in desperate need of a new roof especially since my roof had leaked through the ceiling the last time we had a severe storm in Mesa. come to find out the area in which I live was hit with a rather hard hail storm about a year ago, Neil suggested that I might be able to qualify for a warranty roof.


Neil was very professional and honest about his work. He helped me look into it. I immediately got on the phone with my insurance company and qualified for a claim number. The insurance representative assured be that they would look into it and send an insurance adjuster out. Within two to three days the adjuster paid me a visit. Neil had taken steps to meet with the adjuster and point out, from a professional stand point the damage that he recognized as storm damage. I also met with Neil and the adjuster. The adjuster agreed with Neil and within four days the insurance company had mailed me a check.

On Thursday at 6am, Neil's crew showed up for work and began completely ripping off the old roof, this consisted of taking the old solar system off and removing all of the vents, basketball hoop, etc. On the second day Ron began to lay shingles (by the way, Ron is a perfectionist in his work and takes a lot of pride in his work). Ron worked from 6am until 2:30pm and was able to complete about half of the roof. Due to 100+ degree temperatures he was not able to work longer, or I am certain Ron would have. On the third day, Saturday, Ron began again at 6am and he continued until the roof was completed at about 5pm.

Neil had come consistently from time to time to check on the job and to give a helping hand. Also to ask if I was satisfied with the work so far. I feel that I made a very good decision and improved the value of my home.
